Rules and system references
Rules index
We are using the Pathfinder Role Playing Game System (1st Edition) as developed and published by Paizo. The selection of material available to players is severely limited so as to not overwhelm people that are new to the system or RPGs in general.
The prescribed content is available online through the Pathfinder Reference Document.
Pathfinder Reference Document
The list of allowed Pathfinder content only includes;
Core Rule Book (2009)
All content in this book.
Advanced Player's Guide (2010)
All content allowed except for the additional rules section on hero points.
Pathfinder Unchained (2015)
Only the Unchained version of the Monk and Rogue classes are available from this book.
Eberron content
The original Eberron Campaign Setting was built and published for the 3.5e edition of Dungeons and Dragons by Wizards of the Coast in 2003. The Pathfinder system is compatible with 3.5e, but requires some changes to Eberron content to make the playing experience coherent and easier to play.
This is the site I, as GM, recommend players use for Pathfinder-compatible Eberron content.
Eberron Pathfinder
It includes races, classes, equipment, magical spells and numerous other topics that have been converted from 3.5e to Pathfinder.
Currently, the only allowed content that player's may use is the races section for Changelings, Kalashtar, Shifters and Warforged.
In the future, more content will be made available for players
Character builder
There exist many ways to build a complete character in the Pathfinder system. But often players mess up on crucial details that can leave their characters under- or over-powered. Or simply baulk at the task of sifting through hundreds of pages of content for something relevant to the adventuring concept they want to play at the table.
This is a simple java-based character builder that includes both the CRB and APG content prescribed above. There is not a version of the Eberron material compatible with the current version of the software. The builder will automatically ask you to fill in options from a collated list in a series of steps, makign for an easy and simple process to build a functioning character for you to play.
